Initial meeting (MIAM)
A Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting (MIAM) is the first step in the mediation process. This is a private, one-to-one meeting with the mediator, lasting up to one hour.
🌿 Fee (per person): £125.00
🌿 Duration: up to 60 minutes
This includes:
🌿 A clear explanation of mediation and your available options
🌿 An assessment of whether mediation is suitable for your circumstances
🌿 An initial discussion of the key issues to be addressed
Joint mediation sessions
Once both parties have attended their MIAM, joint mediation sessions can begin. These meetings bring both individuals together with the mediator to discuss and resolve key issues — such as arrangements for children, financial matters, or property — in a calm and constructive setting.

Duration: Up to 90 minutes
🌿 Evening / Weekend Session

Duration: Up to 90 minutes
Shuttle – online mediation
If meeting in the same room is not possible (due to safety, high conflict, or other reasons), we offer shuttle mediation — parties remain in separate rooms (or online), with communication facilitated by the mediator.

Documents, reports and additional services
My mediation process produces clear, practical documents designed to support your next steps with confidence and transparency.
Below are our standard charges for associated work. These fees apply in addition to mediation session costs, where relevant.
🌿 Open Financial Statement (OFS) – £150.00
A clear summary of each party’s financial situation, providing full transparency for informed decision-making.
🌿 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) – £150.00
A written record of the proposals and agreements reached during mediation.
🌿 Parenting Plan – £200.00
A detailed, practical plan outlining agreed arrangements for your children’s care and wellbeing.
🌿 Summary Plan (if agreement reached) – £50 per person
A concise summary of the key decisions made during mediation.
🌿 Review of Actuarial Report – £60.00
For cases involving pensions or financial complexities, we provide a clear review and summary of actuarial information.
🌿 Outcome Statement – £75.00
A short report confirming that mediation has concluded and outlining the outcome.
